My journey discovering

architecture as a ministry

REACHING the world FOR CHRIST through design!

The entire universe is eagerly waiting, yearning to see the unveiling of God's glorious sons and daughters!

Rom 8:19

Architecture can be a Ministry!

When people think about architecture, they think about buildings. Architecture is mostly known to provide shelter indispensable to the continuation of human life and survival. However, if you look deeper, you will find that architecture is not only about the building but more so about the life it houses.

Whether we recognize it or not, every house, every building, every house, every church, every hospital, or school is a testimony of a way of living.

Architecture not only give a roof above someone's head, it also gives someone a chance to life, to growth, to creating cultures, and to building an identity. Therefore, the truth is that “The consequence of architecture is much more significant than the object of it”!

Even though historically, architecture has not been considered a form of caring labor; with the world rapidly changing, it is undeniable that the agency, the autonomy, and the accountability of the profession should intentionally change as well. As a daughter of God whom the entire universe is awaiting to do what I was created to do, I decided to use my passion for architecture as a ministry. – God is an architect, and I believe that practicing architecture can eventually be a calling.

My "WHY"!

My Ministry

Designing & building the kingdom

With all the destructions around the world, it is crucial that rebuilding starts and is done according to the kingdom's principles. - The world is in need of architects & designers!

Share the Good News

While designing and building, we get to also build relationships and sharing the good news with clients, and the different stakeholders of the projects.

Empowering young professionals

My desire is to inspire young professionals to use their lives' passions, skills, talents, hobbies and careers in service of others more intentionally. I believe all we have is all we need to make the world a better place.

The Vision

1

Spending several months under the apprenticeship of architects and designers learning how to design and build a world of hope.

2

Starting a conversation with the emerging professional about the opportunities of using all we have to change the world.

3

Creating opportunities for students and emerging professionals to exercise career choices as potential ministries.

The world need of you.

Have you ever been touched by what is going on this world, what is

being destroyed and killed and wondered, who is going to rebuild all that? For example, today - who is going to build Israel back? In the past year or so, we keep find out how many things are actually wrong, so many things have been unveiled to be defective in our society – but what’s the cure? Who can change?

Who will be one to go against the status quo to help find the solution? Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" – Does this sound an alarm to you somewhere? When I read Psalm 14:2-3 The LORD looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if any understand, if any seek God. All have turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. – I got convicted.

I mean no wonder all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. – Romans 8:19

Using your uniqueness to help

There are lives, families, and communities' destinies tied to what you are created for. Find your uniqueness and exploit it in the service of others.” – Larry Winget

It is very apparent that the biggest advantage that Jesus actually had here on earth was that He knew who He was, where He came from, and where He was going...

" Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going…. I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.” – John 8: 14, 18

The question then that all should be asking themselves is: Who does God says that I am ? Where do I come from and where am I going - So to be a witness standing with the God who created you.

I believe there are three ways will help to discover this, you won’t have to go too far.

  • your testimony – The what
  • your gifts & talents – The how
  • what makes you most angry – The why

Here is what you could do...

“Write the answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner (you or those to help) can carry the correct message to others. " - Habakkuk 2:2

There is only one You

There is only One You in this world and Only you can do what You can do like You do it. The whole world is waiting on the real You.

If it is up to you, always start with the “WHY”.

The why will make your what totally clear and the how will be even more apparent. Ask yourself: “What is coming out of me that is, or has been commending the attention of man?” for - Proverbs 18:16 says - A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.

If you are like me, asking yourself the “when” or "where", I am pretty sure that if you are reading this, the when and where are not to far from being discovered…

Just remember - What is scarier than “obeying God” is to wish you had…

The Bible encourages us in Romans 12:6 - “having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.”

The truth is: “Someone somewhere is depending on you to do

what God has called you to do”.
