Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God.

Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him.

- Psalm 34:8

Finishing strong...

I'm finding myself in need of giving myself so much more grace, constantly surrendering myself to God, while spending time in worship to keep my eyes on Him so I can keep a smile on. But with the help of my pastor, mentors, friends, and family's prayer I've been able to intentionally strive to live the present and count my blessings rather than being frustrated about the future. I love doing architecture with Jesus!

Definitely one of the best Yes's in my life!

It's only been a month since I joined EMI, and everything feels like I was meant to be here. To say the least, I've never been in a place where my passion (architecture), aspirations (Jesus), and heart's desire (influencing nations/missions) all meet at the same time. It almost looks like my whole life has prepared me for this.

I am ready!

Let the journey begin!

“How beautiful and delightful on the mountains are the feet of Gwendoline Albright Ndikumagenge, who will be bringing good news, Who will be announcing peace, Who will be bringing the good news of good things, announcing salvation, Who will be saying to "The World", “Your God reigns!” - through love, design, and discipleship.‭ -Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

My visit at EMI! I am halfway funded!!!!

In the second week of June I was able to visit the EMI USA office in Colorado Springs, CO. I don't think I've ever felt in my place so quickly like I did when I arrived at the office. Everything from the entrance door, to the sweet receptionist, and all the interns &staff I met made me realize that home is really where the heart is - a place to design a world of hope. Careers, skills, talents, hobbies, and passions can be ministries.

It is true that every smile, every satisfied heart, every good moment can be traced to a prayer and a call to action. What I have learn through this support raise process make me totally I agree with John Piper that “Missions exists because there are places where worship doesn’t”. I believe it will require a prayer and a call to action to change that. It will require someone to be willing get out of a comfort zone, give either it be time, money, or resources by realizing that they might be the only chance for someone to have a better life.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen." - 1 Peter 4:10-11.

~The Lord doesn’t give us anything just for our own benefit. We’re blessed to be a blessing to others around us.

" I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;

and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." - Genesis 12:2

So whether it be your skills, your career, your talents, your passions, or even your hobbies, they can all be ministries and serve to advance the kingdom of God. Get in touch with me and we can brainstorm how that might look like.

Invitation to my journey of exploring architecture as a ministry!

Like Marianne Williamson said "In every community, there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. And in every heart, there is the power to do it.” This opportunity will help me enrich my professional experience; a step closer to discovering architecture as a ministry! During my time at EMI, I will be expanding my architectural abilities, while aligning with my passion for using my degrees, gifts, and talents to change the world.
